Great News - It will soon be time for Firbeck's famous Scarecrow Event.
This bi-annual event is always a hit with villagers and those living further afield, and is a great day out for all the family. Along with an impressive display of scarecrows, there'll be food, games, stalls, and even a tug of war!

But first we need your help! If you live in Firbeck or The Yews, and would like to make a scarecrow, we would love to hear from
you

Our theme this year is
Film Characters and you can choose from over 70 Characters. We urge you to reserve your favourite character quickly. Check out the list

Although for safety reasons our trail is confined to the centre of the Village (areas marked in red on the map below) we encourage ALL Firbeck and Yews residents to make a scarecrow. We will definitely be able to find a spot for your scarecrow outside the Village Hall or in a garden along the trail !!
