Firbeck Scarecrow Festival
The sun shone on Saturday for Firbeck’s Scarecrow Festival and this year’s Famous People theme, inspired more than 30 fantastic scarecrows.
Visitors came from far and wide to follow the trail, keeping the Village Hall busy throughout the day.
Inside, delicious homemade refreshments were on sale, together with activities for children.
Outside, stalls offered bric-a-brac, plants and books, while the garden was filled with family games, including hook-a-duck, skittles and a coconut shy.

HOW YOU CAN HELP THE HALL
The Village Hall is totally self-funded, relying on income from the hire of the Hall, proceeds of fundraising events, ad hoc grants and donations. Additional funds are also raised by supporters using easyfundraising and the Clothing Bank.
Did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Firbeck Village Hall with easyfundraising?
We have partnered with ASTCO who have provided us with a Clothing Bank which is situated in the Village Hall Car Park.
